Alabama picks up its second transfer of the offseason.

On the day before the spring semester classes were supposed to begin at UTEP, sophomore wide receiver Tyrin Smith announced that he will be entering the transfer portal with two years of eligibility remaining.

The fifth Alabama transfer has announced his newest destination.

He ultimately played in just one game for the Tide, playing in the November matchup against the Austin Peay Governors.

Has Malachi Moore's time in Tuscaloosa come to an end?

The 6-foot-5 junior appeared in 18 games across his four seasons in Tuscaloosa playing on the offensive line and on special teams.

He hauled in 46 receptions for 570 yards and seven touchdowns during his time in Tuscaloosa with 2022 being his most productive season, finding himself in the endzone six times as a junior.

Leary came to Tuscaloosa as a 4-star prospect out of Orlando, Florida as a part of the 2021 recruiting class. He came to the Tide with several other high profile receivers, Ja'Corey Brooks, Agiye Hall and JoJo Earle were also in his class.

It's been a tough year to be a quarterback for the Iowa Hawkeyes. Just days after the Hawkeyes were bounced from contention for a Big Ten West Title, one veteran quarterback within the program has announced his intention to transfer.

Following their loss to UTSA, it will be interesting to see how many UTEP football players enter the transfer portal, and if the Miners use the portal to reload.
