The next closest conference is the Big 10 with five teams and the third is the Pac-12 with four teams. The SEC also leads all conferences with four teams in the top 10.

Besides Georgia, Ohio State, Michigan, and Clemson the AP Poll was turned upside down after this weekend. The first major difference is Tennesee and Alabama switched places after the Volunteers beat the Crimson Tide 52-49.

Another big change is that Ole Miss moved up two spots after beating the Auburn Tigers 48-34. Texas Christian University has been arguably the biggest surprise of the year. The Horned Frogs are ranked number eight in the nation. This is the highest TCU has been ranked since 2017 while being led by first-year head coach Sonny Dykes.

The USC Trojans fell out of the top 10, but the Pac-12 still has two teams ranked in the Top 10.

The Oregon Ducks have won five straight games since its Week 1 loss against Georgia and have moved up to No. 10. The surprise team of the Pac-12 has been Chip Kelly and UCLA. The Bruins are currently ranked No. 9 in the nation which is the highest the team has been since 2015. College GameDay will be heading to Eugene, Ore. this week as the Ducks take on the Bruins in a Top 10 matchup.

There is still lots of football to be played this season, so do not be surprised if the college football rankings are flipped upside down next week.
