Sports analyst and WWE SmackDown commentator, Pat McAfee, will be in Austin, Texas this week to make his ESPN College GameDay debut. The former Indianapolis Colts punter has signed a multi-year agreement with ESPN and will be a full-time member of the show alongside Kirk Herbstreit, Rece Davis, Desmond Howard, and Lee Corso.

McAfee retired from the Indianapolis Colts in 2017 and has since had a wildly successful career as the host of The Pat McAfee Show that started in 2020.

McAfee also joined the WWE back in 2019 as a part time wrestler on their NXT show and eventually moved Friday Night SmackDown's commentary team in 2021. He also wrestled in two major WWE Pay-Per-Views this year with matches against Vince McMahon at WrestleMania 38 and Baron Corbin at SummerSlam.

Pat McAfee announced that he will be putting his WWE career on hold for now as he dives into the realm of college football. McAfee joins College GameDay this Saturday ahead of the much anticipated matchup between the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Texas Longhorns.
