Lane Kiffin Says Nick Saban Thrives From ‘Dynasty Over’ Talks
Lane Kiffin did not waste any time at his Monday afternoon press conference claiming that Alabama head coach Nick Saban's prime is not behind him just yet.
When he saw quotes from Paul Finebaum saying the Nick Saban dynasty is over, Kiffin immediately explained that every time people start to talk about Saban's career coming to an end, they are basically giving the GOAT even more fuel.
"It's the opposite of rat poison. It works for Saban. It motivates him even more and he goes and proves them wrong every time," Kiffin said.
Kiffin is tired of the media poking the bear, because it will only make the Crimson Tide more hungry to go into Oxford this weekend to take all of its season struggles out against the Rebels.
Kiffin said Nick Saban is the best coach to ever do it, and added that it was a blessing to coach beside him. He will forever believe the Tide will always be feared by its opponent no matter how good or bad of a season the team is having.
Alabama enters Vaught-Hemingway Stadium this weekend in a spot no one would have predicted them to be in at the beginning of the season.
The Tide still has a shot at a division title, but chances are slim as they have fell behind LSU after a loss to the Tigers this weekend. Saban and the Tide will still give it their all, and they will never go out without a fight.
