After the game, Nick Saban said Young was day-to-day with an AC shoulder sprain to his throwing arm.

Saban said on Thursday that quarterback Young has had some practice this week but will ultimately be a game time decision for Saturday's game.

"Bryce has been practicing, and all week, he's been saying that he could play," Saban said. "But that's going to be a medical decision. We've still got some time, and I want to talk more to Bryce. He's the only one who knows how he feels because it's going to be a pain tolerance thing."

"He's a tough kid and great competitor. We'll see where he is on game day," Saban adds.

Saban also added that there is no structural damage to keep Young out long term, but Thursday was too early to make a call on his status.

If Young is out against Texas A&M, backup quarterback Jalen Milroe will play in his absence.

Justin Eboigbe

Senior defensive linemen Justin Eboigbe may not return to the field in Week 6 due to a neck injury.

Coach Saban spoke to the media about Eboigbe. "He's got a neck injury that we're having specialists look at to make sure we manage correctly," Saban said on Monday afternoon. "We're not gonna allow him to play until we can get the exact, most expert plan of action for him and his future."

TEXAS A&M INJURY REPORT

Max Johnson

Texas A&M quarterback Max Johnson is officially ruled out against Alabama in Week 6.

"I am told Texas A&M QB, Max Johnson has a broken bone in his throwing hand. Sadly, he might be done for the season - at the least the foreseeable future," Ian Fitzsimmons of ESPN Radio tweeted.
