Will Anderson Focused Heading Into Texas A&M Game
Alabama hosts Texas A&M in what was arguably the most anticipated game of the year heading into the season. With all of the outside noise surrounding the game, it would be easy to get caught up in the hype.
Alabama star linebacker Will Anderson spoke to the media on Monday and noted that he is keeping his focus on the task at hand, football.
“I come here to play football, I don’t come here to write tweets, I don’t come here to go back and forth,” said Anderson. “People may try to make it a big thing, but at the end of the day I have a scholarship to play football. Coach Saban brought me here to play football, he brought us all here to play football and that’s our job to go out there and make sure that we be at our best versions of ourselves on the field and make sure that we’re playing up to the Alabama standard.”
Anderson and the Tide look to use that focus to take down the Aggies, the only team that defeated Alabama in the regular season last year.
Kickoff on Saturday is set for 7 p.m. CST on CBS. Radio coverage will be available on Tide 100.9 and 95.3 The Bear.
