Tuesday morning marked the beginning of the XFL Draft.

With 70 total rounds in two days, it meant the picks were going to come quick. In the 4th round of the draft, the Seattle Dragons bolstered their receiving core with former Texas Tech football great Jace Amaro.

This was the analysis of Amaro provided by XFL.com:

"A 2013 first-team All-American, Jace Amaro set the NCAA single-season record for receiving yards by a TE as a junior. He is a flex tight end with prototype size and bulk. He shows strong hands and is competitive in traffic. He is a tough runner after the catch and will impose his will to pick up extra yardage through contact."

During his time at Texas Tech, Amaro racked up 1,818 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns. His best season was his last one for the Red Raiders. As a junior, he hauled in 103 passes for 1,352 yards and 7 touchdowns.
