Watch: Cleveland Browns Quarterback Baker Mayfield Gets Into Heated Exchange With Reporter
Wednesday afternoon, Baker Mayfield fielded questions from the media during his media availability. However, after getting into an exchange with a member of the media, the Browns QB stormed off.
I know that there are some people that live for moments like these so they can just continue to bash Mayfield and call him unprofessional for essentially getting into an argument with a reporter and leaving. But I see it a different way.
If you were a quarterback of a team that has the talent to be a playoff contender yet have only compiled a 2-5 record on the season, it's tough to stay positive. It's tough to stay positive when your coach takes a delay of game on 4th and 11 on your own 20 yard-line, then sends the offense back out there just so they could give the ball back to the New England Patriots.
I'm not here to blame Baker Mayfield. I blame Browns Head Coach Freddie Kitchens.
Mayfield would later tweet out how he felt about the whole incident.
Mayfield and the Cleveland Browns will try and end their three-game slide when they take on the Denver Broncos this Sunday (November 3rd) at 3:25 p.m. on CBS.
