Texas Tech Running Back Armand Shyne Out for 2019 Season With Broken Ribs
During the weekly Texas Tech football press conference, head coach Matt Wells announced that running back Armand Shyne would miss the rest of the season with broken ribs.
Coach Wells said the injury to Shyne happened during the Kansas game, however Shyne could be back if Tech reaches a bowl game.
The senior grad transfer from Utah played in all 8 games for the Red Raiders this season totaling 374 yards rushing on 65 carries and 3 touchdowns.
With Shyne out, Tech will rely heavily on the tandem of SaRodorick Thompson and Ta'Zhawn Henry out of the backfield for the remainder of the year.
