The Texas Tech men's basketball program has announced its 2019-20 non-conference schedule with the hopes that they can follow the best year in program history with more success.

The 13-game non-conference slate starts on November 5th, 2019 when the Eastern Illinois Panthers come to Lubbock for the season opener. After that, Texas Tech plays Bethune-Cookman (November 9th), Tennessee State (November 21st), LIU Brooklyn (November 24th), Southern Mississippi (December 16th), UT Rio Grande Valley (December 21st) and Cal State Bakersfield (December 29th), all within the friendly confines of the United Supermarkets Arena.

Texas Tech will also play several neutral court games, including a game against Houston Baptist in Midland at the Chaparral Center on November 13th.

The Red Raiders will play a pair of games in the Las Vegas Classic against San Diego State (November 28th) and either Iowa or Creighton (November 29th). They'll also play DePaul on December 4th as part of the Big East/Big 12 Challenge, and Louisville at Madison Square Garden in New York on December 10th as part of the Jimmy V Classic.

Before the season, Texas Tech will head to the Bahamas to play three games at the Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island before returning to Lubbock to start class.
