Texas Tech Baseball Earns Top Seed in the Big 12 Tournament
The Texas Tech Baseball team wrapped up the Big 12 Championship this weekend by winning their final series over TCU.
The rest of the conference wrapped up their final games as well, with Baylor and Oklahoma State in the second and third spots.
West Virginia used a surge in the middle of the conference season to finish 4th. The rest of the seeding goes Kansas in 5th place, then TCU, Oklahoma and Kansas State in 6th, 7th and 8th respectively.
Here's a look at how the bracket shakes out for the Big 12 tournament starting this Wednesday (May 22nd).
There are only eight teams in the tournament, but nine teams in the Big 12 that play baseball. That means that the worst team, the Texas Longhorns, don't even get to go to the tournament. You just hate to see that; the Longhorns didn't even get a participation ribbon.
Don't worry, Texas, the rest of the Big 12 will have fun in Oklahoma City without you.
