Parents often face the dilemma of whether it's cool to leave the kiddos home alone. Work commitments, mental health breaks—whatever the reason, finding the right time to let your child stay home alone is a hot topic.

Last week I wrote an article about age requirements in Texas for children that we should all know about. You can read that one here. There seemed to be interest on this subject so I decided to write a follow-up article. I realized as a mother of 3 I'm not as well-versed in the child laws in Texas as I probably should be.

School's out for summer! Almost. For some, the final day of school is this week followed by graduation. For others, there is one more grueling week left. Parents, I'm sure we all wish we could say it will be smooth sailing from here but as a mother of 3, I can safely say, that is absolutely not the case. A parent's job does not end when school does.
