Ok let me start by saying this was 1,000% NOT by choice. We were planning a family summer vacation years ago and genius me decided to try one of those hotel booking sites for the very first time. I was not familiar with any of them or how they worked, I was just winging it. NEVER again.
We are all either on one side of this topic or the other. Yes or no, it is that simple, isn't it? Here is the question, do you believe in ghosts? I say NO, without hesitation, because I have never had any kind of personal experience as I have heard stories from friends or family members. I'm not knocking those who have had an 'experience,' I'm just saying I am too much of a chicken to believe, and
I don't get it, I don't understand it, I will never be about that life, but not everyone is like me. Some folks are thrill-seekers and I simply live through them. I hear their stories, take their word for it, and vow, per usual never to visit any place that may be haunted, like ever. If you happen to be one of these ghost adventurers or hunters, then this list is definitely for you!
Mineral Wells, Texas. Population less than 20,000. A one hour plane ride and a drive that would take less than 4 hours from Midland-Odessa. A small town that I personally have never visited but with lots of history. Or should I say one place, one very haunted hotel in particular has lots of history?
Look I get it. Tis the season to get spooked! I don't have to like it but omg am I glutton for punishment, when there are scary movies all month on tv or a haunting show on the tube, I pause and watch, then can't sleep later. Smh. Well either way if this is your thing, check out this list of the most haunted places to visit right here in Texas.
