Midland Has A New Restaurant Opening This Weekend
People always say Midland/Odessa needs more, more of everything, things to do, places to eat, and places to hang out. This weekend Midland is getting a new restaurant with a unique touch. Texas Lodge Bar and Grill is opening in southeast Midland.
Husband and wife Elle and Eddy have dreamed up opening their own restaurant for years but hadn't found the right place until now. Eddy, who is Italian, has been a chef for over 23 years and has worked in multiple countries and states, will be the magician in the kitchen, and Elle, who is of Cuban descent, will be adding her unique touch to the menu.
Texas Lodge Bar and Grill is located at 503 E I-20 Frontage Road, Suite 130. It is in the new shopping center just east of the southside Walmart, next to Hex Hats.
The menu is a combination of everything from burgers, and steaks, to Italian food and Cuban food.
Here is a sneak peek of the menu:
Chicken Pear Meatballs
Arroz Congri and Roasted Pork
Tuscan Grilled Cornish Game Hen
Pesto Chicken Pasta
Penne A La Romana
Fish and Chips
Texas Lodge Supreme Burger
Texas Lodge Fish Tacos
Soups/Salad including Caprese Salad, Ceaser Salad Texas Lodge Style, Tomato Bisque
Sandwiches: Cuban, Italian and classic
Desserts include pecan pie and German chocolate cake.
For a menu of this design, you would expect prices to be on the higher side, but Texas Lodge Bar and Grill has very reasonable prices.
You will also serve a variety of alcohol, including specialty drinks, very soon.
Any restaurant with a Caprese salad has my attention. I can't wait to try it out.
This is a locally owned business so let's make sure to support local people chasing their dream.
