For what seems like the 20th or 30th consecutive day there is news to report from the Texas Tech Basketball roster. This time it's Khalid Thomas, a 6'9" JUCO player from Southern Idaho that is de-committing from Texas Tech's 2019 class as he announced on his twitter.com account.

With Thomas leaving the class, there are now two available spots for the 2019 class.

The de-commitment from Thomas isn't worrisome, but it is a bit odd to get a decision like this so late in the process. There could be a thousand reasons as to why Thomas chose not to join the program so I won't speculate why he changed his mind. Instead I'll leave you with a Spike Dykes quote, "If you have to talk a kid into coming here, you'll have to talk him into playing hard."

Thomas could now land at Oregon, West Virginia or any number of schools that offered him before his commitment
