We are exactly two weeks from opening day in the MLB and there are still some big free agents still out there who could contribute to a team right away. Pitchers like Dallas Keuchel and closing pitcher Craig Kimbrel could bolster any rotation or bullpen for any team in the MLB.

On Wednesday afternoon the Washington Nationals netted themselves a good free agent when they struck a deal with former Houston Astros southpaw relief pitcher Tony Sipp.

The 35-year-old Sipp posted a career-low 1.86 ERA in 54 appearances last season for Houston. He was 3-1 with a career-best 1.03 WHIP and 42 strikeouts in 39 2/3 innings for the American League West champion Astros.
