The former Alabama Crimson Tide great was given a $2 million raise for the upcoming 2022 NFL season, meaning he will make an expected $14 million. This tops the yearly amount that other top-paid running backs like Christian McCaffrey and Alvin Kamara will be making this season.

The new raise on Henry’s current contract did not add any years, however, and his current contract is still set to end after the 2023 season. If no new deal is made, Henry will be an unrestricted free agent in 2024.

Henry rushed for 937 yards and 10 touchdowns in just eight games last season before suffering a foot injury, causing him to miss the remainder of the regular season. He returned for the team’s playoff loss against the Cincinnati Bengals, rushing for 62 yards and a touchdown.

Although there is cause for concern after coming off a major foot injury, Henry is now fully healthy and will be a big part of the Titans’ offense this season.
