The Cowboys have been having sort of a love affair with free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. over the past several weeks. Speculation has been running rampant on whether the Cowboys would sign the former Ram to help make a push deep into the NFL playoffs.

T.Y. Hilton.
The four-time pro bowler spent 10 seasons with the Colts, snagging 631 passes for 9,691 yards and 53 touchdowns. However, in his last season for the Colts, Hilton only caught 23 passes for 331 yards with 3 touchdowns.

"As a veteran, he knows the ball. He's really, really smart. To have a guy like that, he'll be able to handle the transition really, really well and provide some depth. We'll see where all the roles transpire." (Kellen Moore via ESPN)

Does that mean the Cowboys won't be signing OBJ?

Not necessarily. Although the chances are not good, the Cowboys haven't ruled out signing him according to CBS Sports analyst, Josina Anderson.

So, while OBJ may still be an option later for the Cowboys, T.Y. Hilton joins a young receiving corps of CeeDee Lamb, Michael Gallup, James Washington, and Noah Brown mainly because he can play "right now".
