Texas Tech Baseball is advancing to another Lubbock Super Regional. That's three straight for the Red Raiders and Tim Tadlock.

It was a dominant effort from Texas Tech this weekend, who didn't trail past the bottom of the 3rd inning in three straight wins. The Red Raiders would open against Army West Point and beat them 6-3. Then, North Carolina would fall 7-2 on Saturday before a Sunday night victory over UCLA by a final score of 8-2 would clinch the NCAA Lubbock Regional.

The Red Raiders had everything working in the series but looked especially good out of the bullpen as Conner Queen, Micah Dallas, Ryan Sublette, Andrew Devine and Derek Bridges combined for 10.2 innings, allowing only one run. The boys in the bullpen struck out 14 while walking four. That's a stark contrast to the bullpen that really struggled at times this season.

The starters, Chase Hampton, Patrick Monteverde and Mason Montgomery, also kept the free passes to a minimum and none of them allowed more than two earned runs in a start this weekend.

The bats were just as consistent and were led by an unlikely face in Kurt 'Mr. June' Wilson, who added yet another couple of RBI to his weekend total with a two base knocks against UCLA in pivotal moments. The first tied the game early and the second was a huge insurance run to put UCLA away.

Texas Tech will now await the winner of the Stanford Regional to see who will come to Lubbock for a best-of-three Super Regional series. It will be either the Stanford Cardinal or the UC Irvine Anteaters.
