An artist's biggest fear has plagued Texas Music artist Aaron Watson. Aaron Watson has been forced to cancel all upcoming shows. Being the artist that he is, he is trying to get all of these shows rescheduled.

Aaron informed fans that his vocal pain began at his show at Billy Bob's, after that, his doctor told him to take the weekend off, which he did and went right back to performing. Then at his sold-out show at the Grizzley Rose in Colorado, the pain returned now he is being forced to go on vocal rest. He is very lucky because some artists have so much damage to their vocal cords, they have to have surgery and end up not being able to even talk for months. Some other artists that have had to have vocal surgery are Gary Allan, Keith Urban, and Billy Currington.

Fans were very quick to take to social media to show their support:

"Great news!!! Praying for your complete healing."

"Get well soon, buddy!"

"So my wife and saw you at Billy Bobs and you were awesome as always. I know you’re ready to get back at it but if it’s too early you could hurt yourself more. Just make sure you got it taken care of. We’re praying for you and hope you’re back to your awesome performances. Take care and God Bless you and your family."

Aaron plans to return to touring Memorial Day weekend, with shows on Friday and Saturday at Gruene Hall. Saturday is sold out but there are limited tickets left for the Friday show.

Aaron Watson has a new album coming out on June 17th, titled "Unwanted Man." It is available now for pre-orders.

As for the show scheduled here on August 20th, Aaron's Birthday Bash, things are still planned as normal.

I know many of us remember Aaron just starting out, playing on the patio at Cheddar's with just him and his guitar and playing Marie's Drive Inn in Odessa and of course The Ranch!
