With the popularity of the Netflix series "Dahmer-Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story" quickly becoming one of Netflix's most popular series, it was only a matter of time before someone would come up with something controversial about the killer for Halloween.

According to the Midland Reporter-Telegram, a West Texas pizzeria has done just that and came up with the ultimate controversy by displaying a fake pizza on its countertop and calling it the "Jeffrey Dahmer Special."

Capital Pizza in Lubbock shows the pizza complete with a crust topped with blood and what looks like guts with Halloween prop eyes and fingers.

The guts are actually ramen noodles, and the blood is just prop blood along with plastic fingers and eyes which are also available at any Halloween store.

The manager credits one of the wait staff for coming up with the ghoulish idea based on the popularity of the Netflix series.

“It being spooky season and the popularity of the Netflix series, one of our waitresses came up with the idea and made the pizza and just put it up as a fun prop for Halloween,” said manager Kiefer Slusher-Davidson.

Of course, the pizza display is getting mixed feedback on social media with some totally appalled by the display and others thinking it was a very creative idea for the Halloween season.

“Like I said, it’s a fun prop," said Slusher-Davidson. "I suppose we’ll become either famous or infamous."

The display is not available for sale and will be put in storage once Halloween is over till next year, but if you want to get your picture taken with the pizza you will have to make a quick trip to Lubbock.
