What is the West Texas Jazz Society All About?
Their website states....
Since 1967, a dedicated group if Jazz enthusiasts have worked hard to make Jazz an important part of the history of the Permian Basin. As a result of their efforts, the West Texas Jazz Society’s Jazz Party Collaboration is now the oldest continuously running Jazz Party in the United States! And a new leadership team is making plans to make sure that we don’t lose that honor.
Look, I love all types of music and JAZZ has a special part in my heart. The FRIDAY NIGHT event is free to the public and gives you a really cool opportunity to take in some Jazz culture and music. I think it's really cool that JAZZ is alive here in the 432 thanks to events like this.
