A Midland man has been added to the Texas Most Wanted list, so be on the lookout, but don't try to apprehend him yourself.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Antonio Martinez Gonzalez, 41, is the Midland man now on the Texas Most Wanted List.

Gonzalez is a part of the West Texas Tango Gang and has been wanted since early 2021. A warrant for his arrest was issued in February 2021 when the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles issued the warrant for a parole violation.

Midland County Sheriff's Office also issued a warrant for his arrest in May 2021 for assault by impeding breath/circulation.

In 2006, Gonzalez was convicted of injury to a child and sentenced to two years probation. That was later turned into a six-month sentence in a Texas Department of Criminal Justice facility.

In 2009 he was convicted of assault against a public servant and got a two-year sentence for that.

In 2017 he was convicted of possession of a controlled substance and received an 8-year sentence and was released on parole in June 2019.

Gonzalez is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds. He has tattoos on his head, neck, chest, abdomen, back, left shoulder, hand fingers, both ears, arms wrists, and legs.

He also has ties to Mexico as well as Midland.
