Jason Kelce, a center for the Philadelphia Eagles, has decided along with his football career he wants to pursue singing. With the help of fellow offensive linemen, Lane Johnson and Jordan Mailata, the Eagles are producing a Christmas album called 'A Philly Special Christmas'. Proceeds from the record sales are benefiting the Children's Crisis Treatment Center in Philadelphia.

Kelce originally came up with the idea during the summer, and the album is set to come out this December.

"The problem is I can't sing, so I knew I was going to coax guys that could sing into coming in and doing this," said Kelce.

Along with the linemen, Jalen Hurts, AJ Brown, Brandon Graham, Hasson Reddick, and Jordan Davis from the Eagles will appear on the album. A multitude of Christmas classics will be on the album such as "Blue Christmas", "Santa Clause is Coming to Town", "White Christmas" and more.

Kelce said every week until Christmas a song from the album will be released. The first song released was "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" by Mariah Carey on Black Friday.

The album cover contains the Eagles linemen as Charlie Brown characters and is being sold as vinyl on the Philly Special Christmas website.

"What started out as a fun idea with the intention of raising money for families around the holidays turned into something much more," said Kelce. The linemen reflect on the project saying it was some of the best times of their lives.
