The Annual Texas Size Garage Sale In Midland Is Back Again This Year!
The Texas Size Garage Sale is exactly what the title states. TEXAS Size! They say everything is bigger in Texas so why not our garage sales too? The 33rd annual Texas Size Garage Sale, an annual fundraiser that benefits Meals on Wheels and other programs at Senior Life Midland, is back on Friday, October 7th.
I remember going in years past and it was quite an experience. It is absolutely as the saying goes, 'one man's trash is another man's treasure and treasures you will find at this giant garage sale.
Set to take place at 407 E. Scharbauer Dr. in Midland, you will find everything from toys to clothes, antiques, holiday decor (Halloween will be here soon) shoes, furniture and so much more! I've known of friends who have been able to furnish apartments with the gems they found at Texas Size Garage Sale. Everything is so reasonably priced and also goes fast so it's best to plan to get there early to find the best items.
Friday, October 7th is early bird opening day and there is a $5 admission fee followed by the 8th, 11th, and 13th which are free admission but as I mentioned before get there on early bird day to find the best stuff, as is the case with any garage sale!
