The Denver Broncos’ matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday afternoon was a rollercoaster of emotions for Jerry Jeudy.

The third-year wide receiver from Alabama and the Broncos have failed to meet expectations that have been placed on the team at the beginning of the season, with injuries and inconsistency being large factors. The team has also struggled offensively for much of the season so far with newly acquired quarterback Russell Wilson.

Emotions have boiled over from multiple players already this year, but one particular outburst from Jeudy on Sunday could see some type of action from the league’s office coming his way in the near future.

Down 27-0 late in the second quarter, Jeudy is visibly upset after being dragged to the ground while running a route. He tore off his helmet and went straight for an official, bumping into him in the process, and stormed back to the sideline while shaking off teammates trying to calm him down.

Apparently all the Broncos needed was something to fire Jeudy up, as the game quickly shifted in Denver's favor. The star wideout caught three touchdowns after the episode, two from Wilson and one from backup quarterback Brett Rypien after Wilson exited the game with an injury. The three scores weren't enough however as the Chiefs escaped with a 34-28 victory.

Jeudy finished the day with eight receptions for 73 yards and three touchdowns, setting a career high in single-game touchdown receptions in his career. His three touchdowns in a single game is the most by a Broncos wide receiver since Demaryius Thomas in 2014.

The big game from Jeudy is a good sight to see for Broncos’ fans, especially after missing time with an ankle injury. He’ll look to carry the momentum in Denver’s week 15 match against the Arizona Cardinals.
