We don't know the extent of the offer yet, but according to Tariq Owens on Twitter.com:

Owens is likely going to Phoenix with a Summer League opportunity, but don't count out a contract with the G-League squad if he doesn't make the roster at the NBA level. Owens has already shattered expectations this year, so making the cut definitely isn't out of the question.

Nobody expected Owens to come in and blow away the blocks record and be one of the best players on one of the best teams in the country. On the other side of the coin, the Suns are starving for talent, and an Owens-Deandre Ayton frontcourt would definitely be talented.

Owens found out right after the NBA Draft that he was headed to Phoenix after watching the draft with his family.
