In Canada's first game at the 2021 Tokyo Olympic Games, former Red Raider Janine Beckie scored two goals on route to securing the victory over Chile 2-1.

Tamyra Mensah-Stock, who grew up in Houston, won the gold medal in women's wrestling, then proceeded to give one of the best athlete interviews of all-time.

The Olympics aren't over yet, but some West Texans have already medaled in the Tokyo games. Natalie Hinds, from Midland, was part of a swimming relay that took home the Bronze for Team USA.
