Lubbock Christian University catcher Andrew Pratt was selected in the 10th round of the MLB Draft  heading to the Washington Nationals organization.

After transferring from New Mexico Pratt hit .370 as a Chap with 25 home runs and a .633 slugging percentage. Defensively Pratt spent most of his time behind the dish being named a First Team All-Heartland Conference selection in both seasons as a Chap. Pratt reached base in his final 31 games of his senior season.
