Buccaneers wideout and decorated Alabama alum Julio Jones made some history of his own. The veteran scored a 31-yard touchdown in the second quarter for the first NFL touchdown and the first NFL points in Germany.

Jones is in his first season with Tampa Bay after a brief stint with the Tennessee Titans. Sunday's score was Jones' only one of the game. It was his second in pewter and red. The first was on Oct. 27 against the Baltimore Ravens.

He also helped Tom Brady make history with the first NFL touchdown pass in Germany.

This year, Jones has 11 catches for 178 yards in another season plagued with injury issues. He had three catches in Germany against the Seahawks for 53 yards.

Jones played in just one game during the month of September and two in October. He has played both Buccaneers games in November up to this point, though.

Sunday's victory over upstart Seattle moved Tampa Bay to 5-5 overall. While those are not the win-loss numbers Brady is used to posting, the Bucs are still firmly entrenched in the race to win the league's worst division.

With Jones now in the full swing of things post-injury, there can be no doubt that Tampa Bay will hope he can remain a contributor during an important stretch for the team.
