The Jonas Brothers have performed on Thanksgiving at halftime for a Dallas Cowboys game many years ago but this will be the first time they have performed at halftime in AT&T Stadium.

The last time the Jonas Brothers performed on Thanksgiving was for the last Thanksgiving Day game in Texas Stadium back in 2008, so it has been a while but they are back to perform and kick off the Red Kettle Campaign that the Dallas Cowboys have been a part of for decades.

"We are honored that our performance will help raise awareness of the great need that exists and encourage everyone to donate to The Salvation Army to make a difference in their communities this holiday season and all year long," said the Jonas Brothers.

The main focus of the Red Kettle Campaign is to provide holiday meals to families who otherwise would not have a holiday meal.

The brothers posted their announcement on social media with a picture of three jerseys and the numbers on the jerseys symbolizing the date they will perform.

"The Jonas Brothers' passion and generous spirit are just what we need to put a spotlight on the challenges facing so many millions of people this year," said Charlotte Jones, Executive Vice President and Chief Brand Officer for the Dallas Cowboys. "We are thrilled to have the Jonas Brothers perform on our national stage for a halftime show that I know will inspire hope and generosity."

The Salvation Army's 2022 campaign is called "Love Beyond" which calls on communities to support their neighbors in need.

The Salvation Army will provide Christmas gifts, food, shelter, and rent & utility assistance to millions struggling this holiday season.

The game will be on Fox next Thursday at 3:30 pm local time.
