On Monday night in the NHL, the Dallas Stars took on the Nashville Predators in game 6 of their first round matchup. After 60 minutes of time on the ice the game was knotted at 1-1 and to overtime it went.

With around 17:00 left in the first overtime period, Defensemen John Klingberg sent an absolute missile from the left circle that got past Predators goalie Pekka Rinne to send the Dallas Stars to the second round of the playoffs.

Here is what that goal looked and sounded like from the crowd.

Next up for the Dallas Stars in round 2 will be the St. Louis Blues, who defeated the Stars the last time they made it past the first round in 2016.
