Former Alabama and current Boston Celtics guard JD Davison was spotted wearing a Tennessee jersey walking into TD Garden on Tuesday night prior to the Celtics' season opener against the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Ala., native lost a bet to fellow teammate and Volunteers basketball alumnus Grant Williams over the Alabama vs. Tennessee football game that the Volunteers won 52-49 due to a 40-yard field goal as time expired.

The rookie was wearing Williams' basketball jersey from his time at Rocky Top.

Williams continued trolling Davison on social media by retweeting a tweet from the Barstool Tennessee account about the bet.

One video of the entrance shows Davison laughing while attempting to cover up the jersey.

The reigning Eastern conference champions beat the Sixers 127-116. Williams played 24 minutes, scoring 15 points, one assist, and one rebound. Davison did not see time in the matchup.

The Boston Celtics play the Miami Heat on Friday, October 21, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. CT on ESPN.
