What’s The Reason Behind This Conclusion?

Turns out, science says breakups hit men harder than women! Yup, A new study by psypost.org reveals that men tend to struggle more emotionally after a breakup than women do.

Well, according to this online study, Guys rely on their romantic partner for most of their emotional support, while women have a whole squad of besties, group chats, and wine nights to fall back on.

Meanwhile, dudes are out here trying to process heartbreak by hitting the gym or rewatching The Office for the 27th time. (You know who you are!)

Men also see relationships as a huge boost to their overall well-being, both mentally and physically. So when that support system disappears, it’s rough. Studies even show men are more likely to feel lonely and sad post-breakup—which is probably why women initiate around 70% of divorces. *Gasps in Spanish*

The takeaway?

If you’re lucky enough to have someone who supports you emotionally, don’t take it for granted. And maybe, just maybe, don’t wait until February 13th to panic-buy a Valentine’s Day gift.
