Questions And Answers On The New Park!

Here are some questions recently asked on their Facebook page and the answers the Palo Pinto Mountains State Park answered.

When will it open? For the time being there is no announcement on opening date (from March video)  We do not have an opening date just yet,

How many acres? 4800 Acres (answer from March video)

What types of camping will there be? We will have RV camping, equestrian camping, primitive walk-in camping, and primitive hike-in camping.

Will there be bike trails? Yes, we will have several easy trails. When we open, we will have approximately 12.5 miles of trails. This is just phase one of three for our trails. When we finish all phases, we will have over 20 miles of trails.

Will you have full hook up spots for RVs? Our full hook up spots (water, electric, and sewer) will be reserved for our Park Hosts when we're ready for them. But all our RV spots will have 30/50amp electric and water. We will also have a dump station in the park.

Are the RV sites spacious and secluded from neighbors? Each site will have a enough space to enjoy the quite and have tree separating each person from their neighbors. We'll even have a few RV sites with a lake view!
