News in the Amarillo area can change pretty fast. It can go from good to bad. Or if we are lucky, the news can turn out to be pretty great. Recently, we got some great news out of Canyon.

Best Thai’s Lease Trouble

Back in July, we first found out about Best Thai closing. The landlord was not renewing their lease. So they were a restaurant without a home. They were supposed to close at the end of August. They have been hanging on and staying open.

In that time, the news went from sad to some of the best news possible. Best Thai found themselves a new home. The best part is that it is not too far from where they are now. So the movers won't have far to go.

A New Location on 23rd Street

Currently, they are at 210 23rd Street, but soon they will be found a few minutes up the road at 1202 23rd Street.

According to their social media:

A New Chapter for Best Thai

We’re so excited to share that we have officially signed a new location!  Our next home will be at 1202 23rd Street.

This journey has been full of ups and downs, and we are beyond grateful for the love and encouragement from our community through it all.

Community Support Keeps Them Going

I don't think the news can get better. Unless you count that they are not going to really have to close at all. That is some of the best news.

For now, please know that we will continue to serve our customers at our current location until the new space is ready. Stay tuned here for updates as we get closer to making the big move.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with us. We can’t wait to welcome you into our new home soon!

Don't count Best Thai out yet. They are not going anywhere except to a new home, and we are happy about that.
