Blue Bell Unveils New Chocolate Lava Cake Ice Cream

As someone with a sweet tooth like a child, I always get excited when Blue Bell drops a new ice cream flavor, but this might be the most stoked I’ve ever been to try one. I kid you not – I will be trying this today.

While I can be a bit on the picky side, I’ve always been a total foodie who loves to try new things. I’m not a food snob, mind you. Those people are douchebags. Sorry, I digress. But I feel like I need to point out the fact that the two are not the same.

Anyway, Texas’ most famous creamery announced today that they will be celebrating National Ice Cream Month with the new Chocolate Lava Cake Ice Cream. They had me at ice cream, but I’m all in for all things lava cake. It’s one of my all-time favorite treats.

Vanilla Ice Cream Loaded With Chocolate Goodness

Blue Bell general sales manager John Neal Robinson gives us the scoop on the new scoop:

Our Chocolate Lava Cake Ice Cream is a vanilla ice cream loaded with delicious chocolate cake pieces, a sweet sundae sauce, and a rich dark chocolate fudge swirl, creating a dessert experience unlike any other.

The new flavor is in stores today. Now, excuse me while I go seek it out.
