Is the 2020 Oklahoma State Squad the Best Team in Oklahoma?
Even though the offseason had some turbulence and question marks, it should come as no surprise Oklahoma State finds itself in the Conference championship game picture.
The entire team returns a slew of starters, which should help improve a defense that was already statistically better than it was in 2018. While the defense will be solid for the Cowboys, it’s the offense that will be the real problem for opposing teams.
If quarterback Spencer Sanders can improve off of last year's Big 12 Freshman of the Year season, Gundy may have the best three-headed monster in his entire coaching career. Tylan Wallace is set to return as one of the top receivers in the conference. The last piece, and the highlight of this roster, will be Running back Chuba Hubbard, who may lead the nation in rushing yards at the end of the year. Hubbard rushed for over 2,000 yards in 2019 and with 10 games in 2020 could get back to 1,750.
