Gwen And Gunner's Permian Pet Of The Week

Every Wednesday we feature a different pet that needs a new forever home here in the Basin from Lonestar Sanctuary For Animals. Sometimes it's a dog, sometimes it's a cat. They haven't had any guinea pigs, hamsters, birds, or snakes---yet. But you never know!

Meet Zion!

Zion is a 5-month-old Lab/Chihuahua mix! At only 5 months he is still on the small dog side. Will he get any bigger? We aren’t sure! He hasn’t grown at the rate of a standard Lab but that being said he could still have a growth spurt. Zion is a sweet playful puppy with lots of puppy energy! He loves playing with squeaky toys and other dogs! He is very people-friendly and has done well with children that have visited him here at the Sanctuary! Like all puppies, Zion will require basic training. If you would like to meet this lovable sweet boy, come by during our visiting hours of 1-4:30 pm every day except Thursdays! He loves to make new friends!
