That time of year again-time for the young, bright future of the Permian Basin to cross the stage and get their diplomas and take the next step in life. Whether that's to Hih School, College, or off into the world workforce-this right of passage is one that will always be remembered by all involved. So let's take the time to celebrate and encourage and recognize this wonderful achievement and wish them all the best in the world. Congratulations class of 2022! Odessa College's Graduation Ceremony for its 450+ students was May 8th. Midland College Graduation was Friday the 13th.

For area High Schools, commencement days and times are different depending on the school and city. Here's what we know:

1. LEGACY HIGH MIDLAND

Saturday, May 28th at Grande Stadium off Loop 250 in Midland. Gates open at 7:15 pm, Ceremony will begin at 8:30 pm.

2. MIDLAND HIGH

Saturday, May 28th at Grande Stadium off Loop 250 in Midland. Gates open at 8:45 am, Ceremony beings at 10 am.

3. COLEMAN HIGH MIDLAND

Friday, May 27th at Midland College Chap Center at 3600 N. Garfield in Midland. Gates open at 6:15 pm, Ceremony starts at 7 pm.

4. PERMIAN HIGH ODESSA

Friday, May 27th at Ratliff Stadium in Odessa. Students should arrive no later than 6:45 pm, Ceremony starts at 8:30 pm.

5. EARLY COLLEGE HIGH SCHOOL IN MIDLAND

Friday, May 20th at Midland College Chap Center, 3600 N. Garfield in Midland. Gates open at 6:15 pm, Ceremony starts at 7 pm.
