Fun Fourth Events Happening Around The Basin
Since the 4th of July falls on a Monday this year many of this year's events are happening over the weekend, starting Friday.
The Midland Rockhounds are kicking off Independence festivities Friday, July 1st, and will continue throughout the weekend. The Rockhounds will have fireworks after each game this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
The Freedom run will take place downtown at the Midland Memorial Stadium parking lot. Run time starts at 7 am. Veterans and First Responders run for free.
This family-friendly event begins with the 59th Annual Children's Sidewalk Parade and closes with fireworks sparkling in the West Texas night sky. Delicious food and beverages from local vendors and a family fun zone are sure to make your Independence Day exciting and memorable. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy live music from local bands during the evening concert

Roosters Backyard in Greenwood will be hosting an Independence Day Bash and Cornhole Tournament.
Legacy Harley Davidson
Legacy Harley Davidson will host their 4th of July Cook-out on Saturday with hot dogs and nachos and all the fixings. The event will take place from 11:30 am to 1 pm.
Firecracker Fandango Odessa
Firecracker Fandango will take place in Downtown Odessa, Saturday night from 6 pm until 10 pm. Events will include a car show, jumpers, a battle of the bands, face painting, balloon artists, a concert, and fireworks. The live music will feature country artist Rick Trevino and special guest Bobby Tarango.
Pops In The Park
This is Big Spring's annual Independence Day celebration! It takes place at the Comanche Trail Park Amphitheater. This family tradition is attended and loved by many. Fireworks will be accompanied by the Big Spring Symphony and Chorus. There will be lots of food and fun for the entire family.
