Man in Critical Condition Following Car And Pedestrian Crash in Odessa, Texas
One person is in critical condition following an accident in Odessa, Texas on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.
The Odessa Police Department reports a blue Ford F-250 was traveling north in the left turn lane of North Grandview near the 2600 block when the driver hit 59-year-old Kevin Gandy who was standing in the roadway.
First responders arrived at the scene and transported Gandy to Medical Center Hospital for treatment. Gandy was later airlifted to Lubbock with life-threatening injuries.
The Odessa Police Department reports Gandy is currently listed in critical condition. No other injuries were reported with the accident, and the investigation is ongoing.
