Can Kansas Win Multiple Big 12 Games for the 1st Time Since 2008?
Year 2 of the Les Miles tenure, may show some of the same problems that have plagued the Jayhawks for the past decade. A defense made for gashing, shaky at best offensive line play, and a total question mark at quarterback.
The one constant this season will of course be the dynamic Pooka Williams. That, combined with two solid receivers returning, Andrew Parchment and Stephon Robinson, at least provides some hope for the Jayhawks offensively.
The defense is just hoping to improve its 36.1 points a game from last season. They are led by linebackers Dru Prox and Gavin Potter along with cornerback Corione Harris and safety Hasan Defense.
Kansas will be hoping to win more than one Big 12 game for the first time in several years, and it will take a special season from Williams to do that. They have beaten two Power 5 teams in consecutive seasons, but to get out of 10th place they'll need to win more than one Big 12 game for the first time since 2008.
