The teams have not been decided yet but the time and date are already announced. The two teams that the NFL selects will play on Nov. 24, 2023, at 2 p.m. CT. No one knows which teams will be playing in this game, but we do know that the Dallas Cowboys and the Detroit Lions are out of contention.

Starting in 1966, the Cowboys and the Lions have always played on Thanksgiving Day. Usually, the Lions play the noon game after the Thanksgiving Parade and the Cowboys play the afternoon game at 3:30 p.m. CT.

This is another huge move by Jeff Bezos and the NFL. With Thursday Night Football on Amazon Prime being a huge success, it was inevitable that the NFL would give more games to the multibillion-dollar company. The price for the Black Friday game has not been released yet,  but Prime is paying the NFL one billion dollars for the exclusive rights to Thursday Night Football for 10 years.
