Beware! TikToker Explains Why It Is Dangerous To Pick Up Folded Dollar Bills

It is a sad day when the old adage, 'see a penny pick it up all day long you'll have good luck' is not something you should do anymore. Many of us were taught young by a parent or another adult, there's money on the ground, pick it up. So you did and went on about your business. Well unfortunately that is actually strongly discouraged these days. 

Recently my little one found $5 on the ground at a store and innocently picked it up. Had I watched this TikTok video before that incident I absolutely would not have let her!  Too much craziness in this world and it is just not worth for a buck or 5 bucks.

Savy_eagle85 on TikTok is issuing a warning to all parents and adults too, if you see a folded dollar bill on the ground, DO NOT PICK IT UP! It is no longer safe to just pick up money you find on the ground.

Why? Because people are putting fentanyl inside, folding them up and leaving them for unsuspecting folks like you and me to come along and snatch them up.

WHAT IS FENTANYL?

According to CDC.gov,

Fentanyl is a synthetic opioid that is up to 50 times stronger than heroin and 100 times stronger than morphine. It is a major contributor to fatal and nonfatal overdoses in the U.S.

Fentanyl is very dangerous and could be extremely harmful, cause hospitalization or be potentially fatal.
