We constantly make fun of warning labels on things, but the reason things have warning labels is because some idiot has done them. Let take for instance the hole Tide Pod thing. Who in their right mind would think of lets eat these plastic pods full of soap and maybe they will be good.

Let's take a look at some of the "Challenges" or latest fads.  I am going to start with the Tide Pod Challenge, if your children were dumb enough to try eating a Tide Pod, you are a failure as a parent.

Now let's go to the milk crate challenge. This is really common since! This is basically the law of gravity. If you weigh 300 pounds don't stand on a plastic box that is only meant to hold 100 pounds. Was goes up must come down.

Then there is the cinnamon challenge. That is where you see if you can eat a spoon full of cinnamon with out taking a drink in 60 seconds.

The latest thing is now huffing onions to fight or prevent COVID.  Memes claiming it's true have been circulating on Facebook, especially in Asia.  They say to cut an onion in half . . . cup it against your nose and mouth . . . and take a series of deep breaths.  But there's ZERO evidence it actually does anything except make your eyes water and your breath stink.

This has gained so much attention and traction that the AFP had to come out verify that it is false.

Dr. Khin Khin Gyi, director of the Central Infectious Diseases Control Division in Myanmar, told AFP on August 30 that inhaling onion fumes cannot kill the virus.

“That is just misinformation that is harmful”, she said.

"If (a Covid-19 patient) thinks that he will get better by inhaling onions, it may be too late to get the necessary treatment,” she added.

Thira Woratanarat, professor at the Department of Preventive and Social Medicine at Chulalongkorn University told AFP on September 6, 2021 that there is "no solid evidence" to support the claims in the social media posts from "any clinical research".  AFP

Please, please, don't be this dumb in life and please don't allow your children to be this dumb. Please don't be a reason a warning label was created.
