If you are a typical couple or family who struggles with deciding where to eat on a daily basis, boy do I get it. You would think that with the countless options we have in the 432, it would be so easy to choose a restaurant a day no matter what type of food you like. However, if you need a little help, I'll step in with a list.

What a special day it is! 2/22/22 Twosday many will be getting engaged, a coworker of ours here is actually getting married and what a special day for those who are celebrating a birthday today! Might I add to the fabulousness of this day by letting you know today's ayeaye holiday is, National Margarita Day! Now that I definitely intend to celebrate.

If you have lived in the Permian for all or most of your life, you know of all the restaurants that have come and gone. We have had some good ones over the years, and we also have our mainstays. We have our favorites that we visit regularly, the place where everybody knows your name and what your drink and food order will be.

So I've got my favorite Mexican food restaurants. My go-to restaurants to grab my favorite #3 combo meal and be on my way. But I love when someone recommends a new place to eat, specifically a little 'hole in the wall' restaurant that may not be aesthetically pleasing on the outside but guaranteed you will enjoy some of the best Mexican food you have ever eaten! It never fails, someone you know moves away and within a few months they're saying I sure miss this restaurant or that business. Because lets face it, even though some of us complain on the daily that there ain't a dang thing to do in Midland-Odessa, there are still some things you would genuinely miss if you moved away.

I don't know about you but I am a Guy Fieri fan. Hands down, Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives is my show. Even if I've seen an episode before, don't count me out, I'm down to watch again in case I missed something the first time. I especially love when Guy comes to Texas. I have kept track of several restaurants throughout the state that he has visited in the hopes of trying them out one day!

Are you a straw person? I have to to have a straw with every drink. Water, tea, soda. Even my coffee at work, I use the stirrer as a straw. At restaurants they typically give you straws with whatever you order to drink but at home it is entirely up to you to have them or not.

Is there anything open 24 hours anymore? I think once the pandemic shut everything down for the better part of a year, the stores that once stayed open round the clock, adjusted their hours and never went back to the old schedule. Walmart is the perfect example, used to be 24 hours but most if not all, now do close earlier.

The loosening restrictions, and openings, would most likely occur with bars, restaurants, amusement parks, water parks and sports stadiums.
