‘Mija, Yes You Can’ Hosts Mini Market for 5th Anniversary in El Paso, TX
March is International Women’s Month and ‘Mija, Yes You Can.’ is inviting the El Paso community to celebrate with a special Mini Mija Market!
El Paso, get ready to celebrate five years of empowerment, community, and Mija power! Mija, Yes You Can is marking its fifth anniversary with a Mini Market in honor of International Women’s Day on Saturday, March 8th at Old Sheepdog Brewery in Central El Paso.
This isn’t just any pop-up market—it’s a celebration of women and the incredible impact Mija, Yes You Can has had over the past five years. Founded in 2020, the nonprofit started as an idea inspired by a mother’s words of encouragement: “Mija, yes you can.” Now, it’s a full-blown movement empowering women through education, financial literacy, and professional development.
March 8th serves as the “birthday” of ‘Mija, Yes You Can’ and for the past 4 years the organization threw their annual “Mija Market” at Chuco Relic. This year the organization is opting for a more intimate market where guests can enjoy local vendors that have supported the organization from the beginning of their journey.
The Mini Market will feature local vendors, women-owned businesses, and tons of ways to support this incredible cause.
Guests will also be able to enjoy a FREE slice of birthday cake and they will have a chance to enter raffles for free prizes!
“This event isn’t just about celebrating our past—it’s about building an even brighter future,” says organization officials. “We hope the community will come out, shop local, and celebrate the strength of women everywhere.”
Mija Markets are the organizations biggest fundraising event of the year and for the past 4 years funds raised from these markets has helped the organization fund over $50,000 in scholarships awarded to women chasing their dreams, Host financial literacy workshops to educate the community, and provide mentorship and professional development for students & entrepreneurs.
