Yep, the city of El Paso operates a 2nd hand store that's loaded with everything from furniture to electronics, clothing and lots more ... all at a bargain basement price.

You may not know it but El Paso, Texas sells all kinds of stuff to the general public. That's how these guys wound up snagging a full on, 737 jumbo jet airliner for $10K.

Sometimes, they just flat out give stuff away, for FREE, to El Pasoans ... good stuff.

Clothing, appliances, games and toys; you never know what you might find there and all you have to do to get in on the freebies is bring an El Paso city water bill and an ID that matches the name on the bill.

The City of El Paso Environmental Services Department offers residents a place to drop off and pick up gently used items such as appliances, furniture, toys, bikes, etc. for free. The Country Store is located inside the Citizen Collection Station (CCS) at 3510 Confederate Dr, El Paso, TX. - elpasotexas.gov

El Paso Country Store Guidelines:

  • A water bill with a matching ID is required to enter the CCS
  • Residents are allowed to take 5 items per month per household
  • Items cannot be put on hold
  • Items can only be picked up at the 3510 Confederate Country Store location
