McJack General Store Opens In Odessa

When was the last time you heard of a general store opening anywhere but a small vacation town? When I think of a general store I think about either an old west town or a small vacation place like Cloudcroft, New Mexico. General stores aren't something you think of very often but when one opens, it's always really cool.

There is a new general store in downtown Odessa. McJack's General store is now open in Odessa. They are located at 411 South Grant.

This looks like the cutest store. They have Moonpies for goodness sake! Being that we are getting close to Valentine's Day they have great Valentine's day gifts for everyone. I would only assume McJack's General store will be ready to accommodate every holiday.

It is so important now more than ever to support small businesses and shop locally. These businesses are people in our community trying to make a difference all while trying to support their families. In many cases, these small businesses are people trying to make their dreams come true by doing something that they love.

I am so excited to see the revitalization of downtown Odessa and Midland. These two communities are trying to bring life back to our cities with new stores, restaurants, and things to enjoy. They are trying to give us something different to enjoy.
